Privacy Policy
1. Information We Collect
Weice AU ("Weice", "we", "us") collects only the information necessary to operate our consumer rewards platform and to facilitate fair reward attribution. Specifically:
- Account information: the username and password you set during invitation-based registration, and an associated email or contact identifier where applicable.
- Demographic information: optional profile details (age range, gender, general location) that improve the relevance of survey opportunities matched to you. You may decline to provide these.
- Technical session data: IP address, browser user-agent, device type, and approximate geolocation. Used for fraud prevention and reward attribution.
- Activity records: a log of survey starts, completions, screen-outs, quota-outs, reversals, and reward credits associated with your account.
We do not request sensitive personal information such as government identification numbers, full banking details (beyond what is required at the time of payout processing), health information, or precise real-time location data.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate your account and maintain secure session access.
- Match you with available survey opportunities from our partners.
- Track survey completions and credit your account balance accordingly.
- Process reward withdrawals when you request them.
- Detect and prevent fraudulent or non-compliant activity (account sharing, multi-accounting, automation, location spoofing).
- Communicate with you about your account, balance, or material changes to the platform.
We do not use your information for behavioural advertising and do not sell your data to third-party marketing networks.
3. Survey Partner Data Sharing
To deliver survey opportunities and receive completion confirmations, we share a limited amount of technical information with our survey partners (TheoremReach, ayeT-Studios, SaySo Rewards, CPX Research, Innovate Digital Media, and any partner we may integrate in the future):
- An encrypted technical identifier representing your account, used so that the partner can report completions back to us. This identifier does not contain your username, email, or any directly identifying information in plain text.
- Optional demographic profile data (where you have provided it) used by partners to match you with appropriate surveys.
When you click into a survey, you leave the Weice platform and enter the partner's environment. While in the partner's flow, the partner may collect additional information directly from you in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any partner whose surveys you participate in.
4. Cookies & Tracking
We use a small number of essential cookies to maintain your authenticated session and to prevent duplicate submissions from the same browser. These cookies are functional only — we do not use third-party advertising cookies, behavioural tracking pixels, or cross-site tracking technology on the Weice platform itself.
Survey partner pages may use their own cookies subject to their respective policies. These are outside our control.
5. Data Security
We protect your information through standard industry measures including:
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data transmitted between your browser and our servers.
- Hashed password storage — we never store your password in plain text and our staff cannot retrieve it.
- Encrypted user identifiers when communicating with survey partners.
- Server-side access controls limiting who can view account and transaction data.
While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no internet-based system can be guaranteed 100% secure. In the event of a data breach affecting your information, we will notify you in accordance with applicable law.
6. Data Retention
We retain account information and transaction records for as long as your account is active and for a reasonable period thereafter, primarily to support audit, dispute resolution, fraud investigation, and legal compliance:
- Account credentials and profile data: retained while your account is active; deleted within a reasonable period after account closure unless required for legal or dispute reasons.
- Transaction records (survey completions, reversals, payouts): retained for at least 24 months to support partner audits, payout reconciliation, and fraud investigations.
- Technical session logs: retained for a shorter period (typically 90 days) for security and fraud-prevention purposes.
You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time, subject to the retention obligations described above.
7. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights regarding your personal information:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete information.
- Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data, subject to retention obligations.
- Objection — object to certain processing activities.
- Withdrawal of consent — where processing is based on consent, withdraw consent at any time.

8. Compliance & Contact
Weice is committed to complying with applicable privacy laws, including the Australian Privacy Act 1988 as our primary regulatory framework. We additionally observe the principles of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) where they apply to members from those jurisdictions.
This policy may be updated from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to active members through the platform or by email. The "Effective Date" at the top of this policy reflects the most recent revision.
